This is not the Claret your granny drank in the 70’s  This a modern and refined, not too dry, not too tannic, just nice and fresh and heavy on Cabernet Franc.

Our longest collaboration, we have been working with Sichel family for over 20 years and our claret, which we regard as a benchmark and certainly not “everyday”, is important to us and ever evolving through the years. The 2018 is a modern style where one seeks some freshness, a little vibrancy and still some rigour in the Bordeaux fruit but without the dry tannins or sense of too much time on the sea voyage! Maybe linctus notes through the mid palate with a long finish, a most versatile glass, stylish but in a “moderne” vernacular, if one really ever wanted to put it that way!
